The village
Cabrières d'Avignon is a small village in the Luberon, perfectly located to visit the region and many touristic sites like Gordes, Roussillon, Rustrel Colorado, Fontaine de Vaucluse or L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Biking, hiking, golfing, and many other outdoor sports are also possible.
All shops that you may need are a few minutes walk from the house, in central village (grocery, butcher, tobacco, bakery). You can also go to a supermarket at 3 km by taking your car. And on Sundays, except during winter, you could enjoy a typical and large market from local producers.
First room
East facing for a sunny awakening with direct access to the garden. It has a large 180 bed, which can also become two 90 beds if you want to split them. Adjoining the room you will have a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.
There is also a kettle and a small fridge for refreshments if you want some. This room is air conditioned. WIFI is available and the access to this room is independent.
Second room
South facing with a view to pool. It's a room for two people. It includes a 160 bed. Adjoining to this room there is a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.
The room is equipped with a small fridge for your refreshments and a kettle. It is air conditioned with WIFI access. Access to this room is independent, although passing through the terrace, on the front of the house where I live.
Pool
The pool is private. Exclusive to customers and the owner of the house. Free access at any time of the day with deck chairs and umbrellas.
Not suitable for very young children, except under high surveillance. One of the three sides is above the ground so there is a risk of falling if the child passes on the edge. This pool is heated... by the sun !
Breakfast
A French breakfast will be served on the terrace in front of the swimming pool, and in case of bad weather or in winter, inside, in the dining room. You will have a wide choice of hot drinks, bread, pastries, cereals, fruits, juices and yogurts. Breakfast time is quite flexible, from 8:30 in the morning or later for those who sleep during holidays.
You can also have breakfast in your room if you're warning me the day before so that I can supply you with food for the next morning. In that case, the lunch is self-service.
